15.6.2007 Kaizers Orchestra (Documenta, Kassel)

Friday, June 15th, 2007

Kaizers Orchestra won’t play any concerts for one year – well, I never really believed that. But I was surprised when word got out that one of the few concerts they would play during their live break would actually take place in Germany! And – even though I had to skip a Madsen concert for it – this was perfect. Kassel is not really “next door” for me, but well… it is fair, in any case. So nobody in Germany could complain about the concert taking place too far away, ’cause Kassel is right in the centre of Germany.

1-3.6.2007 Rock im Park (Nürnberg)

Rock im Park also…

Saturday, April 28th, 2007

The next day started way to early, and I felt more dead than alive, but well – there was a lot more sightseeing to do, and another concert that night, so we got on our way pretty soon.

27.4.2007 Skambankt (Blå Grotte, Fredrikstad)

Friday, April 27th, 2007

Another weekend trip to Norway, including two Skambankt concerts, yeah! And this time, it was actually a lot more than “only” concerts, but a lot of sightseeing, sitting in the sun and… driving. Argh.

13.4.2007 Adam Green (LKA Longhorn, Stuttgart)

13.4.2007 Skambankt (Grimstad)

Friday, April 13th, 2007

Ok, first I feel the need to tell you that the bus transports from where I live suck. It’s nonexistent after 4 pm and that means I have to talk my parents into driving.

17.3.2007 Skambankt (Oslo)

Saturday, March 17th, 2007

The next day started with a big breakfast and a sightseeing tour of Drammen (which was really nice – even though you probably wouldn’t expect that in a town like Drammen *gg*). Then the trip to Oslo, some speed-shopping and dinner with Linda, until it was time to get to Rockefeller.

16.3.2007 Skambankt (Drammen)

Friday, March 16th, 2007

Ryanair sucks. It is cheap, it is reliable, but why the hell does it have to leave at 6 something in the morning? So, if you meet me at some concert in Norway, don’t even bother to ask why I look like I didn’t get any sleep the last few days. I probably didn’t.

3.3.2007 Skambankt (Copenhagen)

Saturday, March 3rd, 2007

After a funny episode in the record store (“Can we get those Skambankt posters?” – “Sure. Hey, you’re the ones who took photos of the posters yesterday, right?” Photos?? We?!? NEVER! *rofl*) and a long and silent train ride, only disturbed by the conductor running off with our tickets (“I need to check this!” – yeah, we are evil foreigners, but we forgot to pack the stones anyway…), we arrived in Copenhagen to the sound of police sirens. Luckily this was all we got to see of the riots – there was LOTS of police everywhere, but things seemed to have calmed down. But we stayed in the city center, so who knows what was happening elsewhere…
