Tuesday, December 16th, 2003On the next day, Kaizers played their concert in Cologne! Luckily this was easy to manage – just a two-hour drive at night from Heidelberg to Saarbrücken, rising early the next morning to dutifully go to university, and after that just a quick three hours to Cologne – autobahn, I love you… *gg*

Monday, December 15th, 2003Finally another tour! I didn’t know before that one can become an addict by seeing just two concerts of a band, but well, yes, it’s possible. I couldn’t wait for the tour, but sadly I had to stick with only two concerts nearby because I was terribly busy with my diploma. So I only went to the concerts in Heidelberg and Cologne.

Friday, September 12th, 2003After the first seed was planted at the Rheinkultur and I had come to like Kaizers via MP3 and after the release of the CD via “Ompa til du dør” of course, I wanted to see them live again as soon as possible. Lena, with whom I had visited the Rheinkultur concert (and who actually made me go there, but that’s another story… *g*) found out that Kaizers would play in Munich. Well, yeah. We live in the Saarland, which is about 5-6 hours by car from Munich… Well, what are you gonna do? I definitely wanted to see them again. (And someone else wanted to go to Munich. OK, _and_ see them again. *g*) A few days before the concert I discovered that Kaizers would also play in Frankfurt and Cologne, but those dates were during the week whereas Munich was on Friday – and a nice week-end in Munich isn’t that bad anyway… =;-)

Saturday, June 28th, 2003My first Kaizers concert… and totally by accident. =;-) Before that day I had never heard the name Kaizers Orchestra and to be honest – what the program said about them didn’t sound very promising. But we were there pretty early and wanted to be in the first row for Readymade and Sportfreunde Stiller (well, I’m too old not to stand in the first row… *g*), so we had to pass our time in front of the stage. And in the early afternoon that was really really hard… *sigh* Well, at some point we were bored to death and went for a walk, there was nobody in a 10-meter-radius of the stage anyway (except for us, of course… *g*). When we came back some minutes later, this was totally different! A crowd of cheering people in front of the stage, extraordinarily handsome men on stage that were singing resp. playing strange songs in an incomprehendable language and pounding wildly at oil barrels…
