Skambankt FansiteHmm… naah. Didn’t really like that one. Not sure why – maybe because of the 600 kilometers between the last concert and this one? Or because you had to walk 200 meters in the hall this time before you actually reached the last row of the audience? Or maybe because of the 2 meter aisle separating band and audience? Or the setlist with very little gypsy? Probably a bit of all. So I didn’t really get into the concert mood this time. But then, my friends who came along and had never seen or heard of Kaizers before were amazed. =;-)

Saturday, November 15th, 2008Next up was the only Switzerland concert of this tour, of course in… Solothurn. The venue looked absolutely dead before the doors opened, and right before the concert started, it was still pretty empty. But just like the last concerts, it did fill up eventually! So this promised to be another good concert again.

Friday, November 14th, 2008Next stop: Aschaffenburg. No traffic jams (very unusual for a Friday afternoon!), so I arrived in Aschaffenburg an hour before the doors opened. No problem though – the venue was right in the city center, and I found a record store right away where I spent some time. Didn’t find anything though – but no wonder, Kaizers talked lateron on stage about how had they basically bought the whole shop. =;-)

The weather was absolutely okay all the way, right until I came into Munich and it started raining… thank you very much. *grr* But well, I only had two and a half hours to pass anyway, that was feasible in the rain as well. Saturday, November 8th, 2008Wohoo! Now, that was a great concert trip. =:-) It started with a day of sightseeing and shopping in Copenhagen. And the sun was shining all day, so nice! And just after I had settled down in a café because I wanted to get some work done, I got a message from Aud. She was also in Copenhagen. Huh? So cool! And half an hour later I found out it wasn’t only Aud, but Lena and Linda were there as well. They had just decided spontaneously to get into the car and drive down to Copenhagen to see the concert.. and to get right back on the road to Oslo after the show. Hey, and I thought that I was crazy! *gg*

Friday, October 24th, 2008After so many great concerts, there must be one that’s kinda stupid, that’s what you would assume at least. And Bergen promised to be “the one”: I had gotten only two hours of sleep the night before, and I was on the road all alone – but then you can catch up on some sleep in the afternoon at the hotel, and accidentally I bumped into several nice fellow fans before the concert, so I wasn’t all alone anymore (hi and takk for sist!).

Saturday, October 18th, 2008So, next stop Trondheim! Out of bed very very early and into the train, eight hours, then a quick stop at the hotel and a little sightseeing tour in the rain. So we were pretty tired and completely finished when we arrived at the concert, but Kaizers did us the favor to come on stage fairly early that night (for Norway, at least *g*).
